New at UUC! Alpina-style dead pedal *MADE IN USA*

    New at UUC

    SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY PRICING!

    Alpina style rest pedal

Authentically-styled foot rest (also known as "dead pedal") suitable for most BMW models. Manufactured in the USA from laser-cut aluminum with durable black anodizing, it features raised anti-slip perforations with each hole's opening polished for the ultimate in tuner style.

The altered angle of the foot rest makes it more useful for bracing one's seating position during performance driving, and is a very common modification in racecars.

The rest pedal attaches securely to the floor with the included four self-tapping screws that perforate the carpet and/or double-sided foam tape depending on model. No drilling required, removes easily without leaving visible marks.

Good question! Luckily, we have one here and I just test-fitted it:

As you know, the reinforcements in the side door sills of the convertible change the available floor clearance. The dead pedal fits but is moved over slightly.

have you guys been making these for a while? I've got one and I'm trying to determine if it's an alpina, UUC or just a knock-off...

also, what's the best way to mount this? drill through firewall and floor, grommet them, and put a bolt through each hole?
