I can do another GB later on at the beginning of next year. Though my distributor is doing a Koni re-stock and this will end up being the best opportunity for a Koni GB because we are both ordering a large amount. The more everyone buys, the better off everyone is (from a business stand-point).

I'm still working on getting some pricing on the short-bodied GC part numbers for the GB (if possible), though I should know tomorrow on those. I'm having a little trouble with people returning my calls.

The Konis included with the GB will be based on the standard body struts/shocks, HOWEVER they will be placed on the shock dyno and will be revalved to match your spring rates. Unless you are ordering replacements only, you will receive custom-valved Konis with your complete kit.

Just so everyone knows - I just installed a set of the top adjustable Koni shocks from Ground Control and the rear shock shaft is not a stock size. It's a bit larger and I had to drill out my mounts to 15/32 (or 12mm). GC sells custom rear mounts for around $90 per pair. However, I'm not too sure the actual Konis for this GB are the GC ones or just the standard Koni SAs.

Depending on what kind of pricing he gets, I just might take you up on that.

Ok folks here's a little update. I'm waiting to hear back on the short-bodies and my distributor is currently working on a warehouse Koni order, so he's crunching some numbers to let me know if he can give me a better price break. He's also going to let me know when their order date is, so once I know when that we'll be, I'll have a closing date for this GB.

With regards to the IE stage 3 springs, I have not tested the combination personally, however there should be no problems. I know of people using Bilstien Sports with IE 3's and have had no problems. The Koni's are shorter when compressd than the Bilstiens...so shock travel shouldn't be an issue at all and you can adjust the rebound to your liking.

would the sa koni's work well with a set of IE stage III springs without modification? The strut housing welding business is just for the coil-over setup right? and the koni's just insert into my 20 year old strut housing?
