    Doubt it would snap. It is holding the car in place so would most likely not see as much force as when you would be tightening the car down to the trailer. Of course with that much power there it would be best to have a backup strap ;) .

    If you wanted to run the strap in a cross fashion ( an x ), we can prebend the hooks.

    The reinforcment plates for the rear shocks also have this powder coat option. Yes these will work for e36 and e46 cars as well (including the reinforcment plates we carry too).

    They could be used for the dyno as well.

    Just curious, what are some of the other bits you have powdercoated? I imagine these could work in the same way for e36s? Are these ok for use on the dyno or just to tow?
