Wouldn't it being adjustable put most of the stress on the threads of where you adjust it. IMO one that is designed to fit our cars would be better.

Not really an issue if the stressing force is perpindicular to the threads. If the stress forces were parrallel to the threads it might be another story. I highly doubt there is really enough stress on the chassis to be concerned about it. However, solid bars are stronger and more rigid, but in this area of the e30 it's not a huge difference.

Just consider how much pressure is put on the threads of ball joints and CA bracket mounting bolts and you very rarely ever hear of them failing.

Adjustability on a part meant to stiffen = bad

Although it's a moot point, because rear bars don't do anything on our cars anyway.

I had a Lukas rear strut bar (basically the same, just not covered with CF) and it didn't make a difference in or out. It doesn't fit over my GC shock mounts anyway, so it reinforces the bottom of my closet somewhere, under a bunch of other stuff :P

i think it does something when you're not on the track, i drive mountain roads often and i had it off my car for a bit and i do notice subtle differences
