    15 x 8 Rotas $525 shipped

For anyone following the GB on these on the other forums, here is the deal. 15 x 8 rotas, 4 x 100, 57.1, and correct et. 20; no spacers or any added hardware needed.

We need (updated) 5 people to agree on ONE style of Rotas for this to be a go. Slipstreams were the original rim of choice but not every one liked the style. I'm not partial to any style, so whatever is good for me. I'm in for a lightweight rim for auto-x, and this is a great price.

I already have a deposit for the 16" GB with a option to switch to the 15" GB if this goes through, I also have the luxury of time so I'm in no rush.

Here are the styles availible. Just a note the original GB was for Slipstreams for $525 shipped, a different style may drive up the price.

Just talked to Jessica, she is going to get the weights for, Slippstream, Attack, Grid, and Group A. I'll have an answer in about two days.

Kind of in the same category as you Herb, light weight and strength are primary, appearance a close second.

The Grids look good to me.

So is there going to be a 16" buy going on, or is it just 15". Because if we can do 16's, I'd be in for the Grids or the GT3. What would the color be?

think about the GT3's (black with polished lip)
i heard they are light. i think they would look good on an e30

Talked to Jessica and the Slippstreams are the lightest, but it doesn't matter what style as long as they are the same color............ AND WE ONLY NEED FIVE FOR THE GB TO BE A GO :) :) :)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Say thank you 2002maniac, for setting this in motion,

I was having a problem picturing these in anything other than the horrible red on the 18racing site, so I did a Google image search and found this.

Which is the gunmetal finish, as far as I can tell. I like them.

Somehow we need to come to a consensus on style and color, which will be difficult with all the choices. The only voices that should count are those who will actually put up the money, right?

And thank you Herb, for staying after this.

One other thought, I'm not crazy about the wheels with the additional holes around the lug holes from a strength standpoint. I will most likely be using these wheels on the track some of the time, and I can see the slipstream or the j.spl cracking around the extra holes.

                            Q-ship,

These should be 4 x 100 pattern ONLY, so no extra holes. But I'll call and check.

Just for my opinion/ 0.02, I would prefer the Slipps for strength and weight, Jessica said that they were the stongest and lightest, but whatever.

Herb, most pictures of the slips show oval holes along with the lug holes, like so

So even if they are single bolt pattern they may be compromised.

But I did find one pic without.

The more I think about it, I really hate those oval holes. I like the slips otherwise, heck I just want 15x8's!! But the oval holes would be a deal breaker, because of strength concerns. The smaller pic above looks better to me also, in fact that would be my first choice now.

Who else is serious about this? I'll have $100 on the 31st, and Herb is already in-only 3 more guys needed! Jeebus, I don't even have an e30 yet but I know a great deal when I see it!!
