Need a recommendation! Ive got an 89 325i with IE headers and a ebay replica oem catback, no cat..
Looking for something to quiet it down a bit, and I was thinking about running a resonator in the middle instead of the straight pipe section I have now. Currently the car sounds good at idle and high rpms (although it is loud), the problem is around 2-3k rpm the exhaust gets real tinny sounding due to the thin stainless steel tubing and lack of cat. Id like more of an exhaust tone and less of the metallic raspy sound.

      Thanks!

Im always puzzled how some set ups are loud....

                        w/ the m20:

I ran a mf y pipe, w/ budget beater headers, into a single set up w/ mf hi flow cat ..into a borla REAR CAN...2.5" ........all the way......and it was very sublime....i wanted it louder...lol
I love sitting down and just driving!

Are you looking for a catback system or just a muffler to weld onto the stock setup? Going to send you a PM as well.
