I know there was a group buy on these a while back, but I was wondering what the current interest is. I've seen Carbon innovations trying to sell them on ebay for $645 shipped, and I bet we could get a better price if there is enough interest in this.Or if anyone has a better hookup for these hoods please let me know...

I just got a VIS hood. It mounts to the car just fine and does what a hood is designed to do, except there is a corner of the hood (passenger side near windshield) where the mold shrank and the hood is deformed.Michael Spiegle

Do these VIS hoods need pins, or do they use stock mounting points? Or, a combo of the two?
Also, how much do they really weigh? Anyone know how they compare in weight to a stock metal hood?

i might be interested too. does the poor fit issues on the coener make it too low or just short? how are the gaps? if it is just low and mounts like the stock hood and is the right price i'd be in. i can fix the low spot with skim coat, i'll be painting it to match the car anyways, since it is not a honda.seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

It cost me 150 dollars to get mine shipped. I think that is a flat shipping fee in the US.
For what I paid for the hood I won't complain about fitment when the next available exposed weave hood costs 1000 dollars.

Interested if the price is significantly lower than $650 shipped. If its $630 shipped I would spend the extra $20 on ebay just to have it sometime this year since we all know how GB's go here.;)
