    FEELER GB: M42 Turbo manifold!!

Since M42Club is STILL down I'll post this GB up here. We will prob be having some log SS turbo manifolds made for us. This is a Feeler b/c the builder wants to see what kind of intrest there will be in this. The stock manifold will be used as a base. Lets make this happen guys!!

    **ATTN**
Saying YES on the Poll doesn't mean you HAVE to buy a manifold. We don't have a proto made yet or a final price. We just want to see how many people would be interested at this price. So if you have any intrest in a turbo manifold then please vote.

I really wish that the thread I had on m42 wasn't lost but I'll try to get it all back together and post it up on here tonight.

I should be finding out more details etc, about this manifold tonight or tommorro ;)

yes thats the basic idea, and how i wanted mine to be built, to possibly save my ac that actually functions.

Is the manifold on the M10 the same as on the M42? If so, I would be interested.

The M10 manifold design is different, but with it, you can actually just flip the manifold an make an adapter if you are looking for a budget setup!

Hey guys I had the poll changed to add if you wanted to keep AC and a Rob option for non M42 people. If you could revote that would be awsome.

Please select more than one option

honestly idk if you can fit a turbo in there w/ the AC still there, you would prob have to move the line that is in the way. I don't mind if we design this around a car that still has the AC but I think we would be able to design it for better flow and spool w/out the AC.

I'm staying in boone now so I don't really have a need for AC anymore, so I took mine out. But I realize some of you are places where it gets hot in the summer ;)

Lets hear everyone's input on the AC.

With more indepth look at this problem, ive noticed that the newer m42 serpentine and m44's have a much smaller compressor than our cars. Grassroots had to swap over to a serpentine ac for their blown m42 and it worked fine still and im thinking that maybe if you want ac, you could remove it to fit the manifold and turbo and reinstall a newer gen serpentine setup.Ill post up a pic of a comparason of the two.
