CABRIOS! SUFFER NO MORE! Rear Strut Brace group buy!

    Automatic convertible top cabrio owners:
Were you interested in the Lukas rear strut bar, only to find out they don't fit? Well fret no more!
As soon as I get enough interested folks, my friend Ken will start fabbing us up some strut bars that will fit in our trunks, the bar will either fit between teh shock towers and a little lower, where it will not hit the top motor, or it will extend out a little bit.

The bars will not be made until I am home for spring break where we will make a bunch of prototypes until we come up with one that is the most efficient and effective. We will also take ease of installation into factor.

Prices will be $70 + shipping
If somehow we get more than six people, it will be $60 + shipping.
I can deliver up to 50 miles from zip code 92648.

For more information, reply here, email me, call me, or IM me:

well, the cabrio rear strut bar would fit yours, but there are plenty more effective ones out there,I guess you could sport a cabrio one

Will this just be a bar that attatches to the side of the shock tower?

Id sport the one that a tad lower than the normal ones.
Would this reduce the effectiveness of the bar?
I cant find any bars for the rear for a good price, such as yours.

You can make it as low as you want as it doesnt do much but be a shock reinforcement plate.
            Im now E30less.

Helps with rigidity in the rear, I suppose it works the same way as a front strut bar, helps with the chassis from flexing.

I'm not sure on how it is mounted yet, but we will take the time to make sure it is easy to install AND is effected, however it is mounted.

There isnt much flex with the rear. Real rear strut bars (SBI) are used as reinforcements for the shock tower and mounts. That bar attaches to the top. You cannot make a bar for a cabrio that attaches to the top of the tower. I dont think this item will do much if anything.

You're right, after furthur research, I just found out that the top of the shock towers are inside the convertible top compartment, so there is no way to even do it.

                            sorry guys.
