Cool, I like that. Do you know what tire size is best with them? Should I have any fitment issues?

These should look good as a long-term "temporary" set. My stock 14" weaves will look a little silly if I get an Mtec 2 kit. I'd like some BBS RS-GT 17" eventually (drool).

haha hell yeah i wish i got bbs at a discounted price. as for the j-spl 16x7
4x100 the offset is 37 so.. they wont fit straight on. you need a spacer.
unless somebody says differently. bore is 67.1 so it will fit with some centering rings.

So what's the deal with the wheels that you don't have "in stock."

You said that you order the wheels and they go from Rota straight to the buyer.. So when you say "not in stock," does that mean that Rota doesn't currently have any in stock? When Rota doesn't have a certain wheel "in stock," I was told by more than one distributor that it takes 2 months to wait for Rota to run off a new batch and ship it out.

How long can you offer these prices for?
And, does the different finish cost extra (like the grey finish)?
I really like the deal but my mum says she doesn't have any room in the house for them right now...

that's STILL not what he was asking.

earlier, you said all you do is place the order for the wheels, and rota ships them to the customer, not you. so, who doesn't have them in stock? you, or rota? because if YOU don't have them in stock, then what you've said previously makes a nice contradiction, but if rota is out of stock, then i'm assuming they're running a new batch and shipping it out as of last week. PLEASE be clear and precise with your words.

I called rota today after reading in another forum that the RB's are gonna be offered in a +14 offset to see if this was true. The gentlemen I talked to at rota usa said that the offsets for the 16x8 will be +4, +12, +20, +25 and +35. He said that they will be shipping out mid to late this month. When these start shipping I would like to get a set. Let me know when you are able to get them.

Well as I say I'm up for J.SPL 16x7 in silver or gunmetal... I'm confident it should look decent on an E30...

Anyone else interested in these wheels?

mariownd: does the custom order give you extra money off? Or is it just for like custom paint and stuff?

First of all, I made NO assumptions. I simply asked a question, and then stated what I was told by more than one Rota Distributor. I am sorry if you thought I was trying to put you down in some manner.

You obviously know what wheel I'd like, which is why I'm having a hard time understanding why there is any misunderstanding between us.

When Rota releases their "new" inventory to you, please let me know if you are able to get:
                              Rota Boost
                              17x8
                              4x100
                              et32
                              centerbore: 57.1mm or larger
colors: first choice: gloss charcoal grey second choice: gloss steel grey third choice: silver

As soon as you can give me a definite answer as to if they will have this wheel and what exactly the centerbore will be, please let me know. Thanks.

                                wheels

                                Hey Mario.....

I quickly went thru this post and Im interested in a wheel that should be popular and attractive to most, I hope....and the Spec e 30 crowd.

.....before seeing this thread I spoke to a Rota dealer and like you they needed 5 sets to get order going.........and only wanted a small dep to get started. I rather do it thru you tho. I want the RB...the panasport/minilite style. Its classic, non ricey and tuff looking...and under 15 lbs. In silver finish...57.1, 4 x 100...et 25. Feel free to PM me.........Ill try and help do the leg work to get some more potential orders.......I hope its a win win for all.

Most consider this to be a classic wheel. I think it should appeal to the period correct crowd but less so to the plus 1 and plus 2 crowd. It will roll well on a concours stock car all the way to a dirty nasty track bitch.
