Have them in my civic right now. They can compare to my previous DLS UR6's which sell for around the mid $500 and retail twice as much as the exiles.
I should have said something about the "sound per dollar" on that. Dynaudio, Settemillia, Morel, upper end Audax, Scan Speak, some SEAS, Ceratek, many many others make better drivers. These are absolutely gorgeous, and sound wonderful. Totally satisfying audio experience, IMO.

Congrads on being a dealer and letting people know about such high quality products. :D
Thanks. There is no sales rep in Oregon AT ALL, so it is just me and one other shop right now...and they are 2 hours north.

okay Luke, I know nothing about stereos, just that mine sounds crappy. Ive got an old pioneer HU 4 x 50 peak or something...
What would a reasonable setup be to make it sound really good? Small sub would be okay, but I'mk really looking to keep the price reasonable.
Excellent sound would be had with the XP series front seperates in 5", a pair of 5" "Shift" series co-ax, a single 10" sub in a small ported box and a 600.4 running the whole thing.
How that would work is to have half of that amp running the front speakers, the other half running the subwoofer, and the deck running the rear. Or, you could do as many of us think best and have no rear speakers whatsover.
If you really want to cut costs, use the stock "Premuim Sound" speakers. They are pretty damned impressive when set up properly (good power and crossovers).
You would need a deck with built-in high pass filters, like the Pioneer DEH-P5900 or even the DEH-P3900...they are $199 and $139 at WalMart, respectively.
You would want to source the woofer and the box locally, unless your local shops just blow. I can supply proper wiring for the install. If you really want me to, I can supply woofer and box too, including custom boxes.
If you are just curious, call me tomorrow and I will lay out prices.

I'm interested in the components. Just a few questions on em though.. Is that grill on the tweeter removeable? Reason being, is that I want to fit them behind the tweeter grill for the e30's.
Well today I got a box delivered by UPS. Inside were 2 amps that I picked up from one of our own "StereoInstaller1" on the deal that he offered here on R3V! IF you did not get in on this you really missed out! These are beautiful amps and the deal I know I would never get again. Though it will be some time before I get them in I want to say thank you for offering such a killer deal to R3Vlimited!
Well here they are.
600.4 and the 600.1

Looking at the sizes, that tweet is NOT gonna fit inside the stock panel gracefully. If I were gonna do the stock location, I would use bondo to build a location out of that stock grille.
Besides, considering how fucking hot these tweets look, I would go for it anyway!

Any way to modify the cases to be black instead of silver?
I'm also going to be a dumbass and ask if I can e-mail you directly Luke... pricing & other obnoxious questions which I'm sure you've answered inumerable times throughout your career...
(I spend all day on the phone, so email is easier) ;)

Fuck I hate caps lock.
The endpieces and the center trim are removeable...the nice curved aluminum parts. Easily paintable, or polished if ya wanna. The rest of the amp would be pretty easy to paint, but I think they look hot the way they are.
Shoot me a line, I will reply in a day or so.

Luke what would you charge to do something like that if I were to pick up a set of them from you?
I would do a basic buildup of bondo, grind it to shape, sand it smooth, then shoot a texture on it. Painting would be easy....just the part before it would suck.
I am gonna do a set for my honeys car. I will let you know what kinda dough then.
