Im down for a set of M50 ones. From what I understand(from reading 1 MILLION threads on M50 swap exhausts) these will fit. Etasport has a set on his car. for $185 show me where to sign.

They are worth it if you want to get a custom exhaust made up, which you pretty much have to on the e30m50 swap. They will fit the e30. mine hugs the subframe but i never noticed til i got under the car and it doesnt vibrate/rattle anything. They will become not so purrty real quick, but headers are headers, and cast iron manifolds are ugly.

The slip on connector pipes are pretty much useless. Unless you get pipe that fits on the directly (they are different sizes) then it will leak like mad, and once they are on there, they pretty much bond themselves in place. I recommend a collector to bolt up from the header back if you ever want to take your exhaust off. They look nice, sound is okay, and they make a little performance difference. for the price its hard to beat.

I will try to get on it. I fixed some leaks and they are sounding better, but ive got somewhat of a stock exhaust set-up right now (ansa) and it doesnt seem to do the m50 justice.

Also I kinda dropped out on you, if you decide not to get a set of these, ive got those obd2 manifolds.

Damn, $190 would be awesome. I have to spend money in other places though, sigh.

I bought these from a bay vendor. Supersprint replica headers @ 1/10 the cost FTW! I am having mine thermal ceramic coated currently. Spent more on the coating than the headers, haha!

                              good head(ers)

In general its not rec to coat ss headers..or even wrap them..unless you have a hi heat problem/issue by a painted/plastic part, wires etc.....dynos have been done on coated vs non coated ss and coated lose

                              I bought the gb headers from e 30 tech forum...SS knock off.....304 ss...tig welded.....16 gauge....... for my 90 m20.

I love sitting down and just driving!

I bought these headers off of ebay for my e30 s50 swap and they fit fine.

While they come with .397" spacers for the engine mounts, I only needed one .067" washer on the passenger side to clear the subframe.

Notice that one of the header collectors is smaller near the end? This is because the stock e36 M3 exhaust uses a smaller downpipe for the rear manifold.

As for fitting onto your exhaust pipes, if you are using the stock e36 M3 midpipes as I was at the time, they fit easily after you cut the pipes to length. I only had to lightly tap with a hammer one of the supplied couplings onto the pipes but otherwise, it was easy.

Mine did not leak at all - I know because I have a lift and checked them several times, but I have to admit I only had them installed for a week.

Only a week? I had the stock e36 midpipes slapped onto a stock e30 325i muffler and the muffler was strangling the exhaust killing performance. Since fixed.

Here is a picture of how the headers join the stock e36 M3 pipes.

In my opinion, these headers are a great buy for the money and are easy to install if you remove the passenger side engine support bracket and motor mount.
