American Apparel shirts use ultra-soft combed cotton and are a little bit slimmer. If you don't like shirts that fit a little tighter, I would suggest ordering one size larger.

Varies depending on what options you choose for the shirt. Shipping within the U.S. is always $4.60 no matter what the quantity.

I think you're refering to their track tees, which are pretty thin. Which stores are carrying these? I might do some reconnaissance to find out for sure for you.
