The carpet is quite plush-not nylon feeling or shiny.

I am 200% with you on the whole paypal thing. HOWEVER, Mel has done such a great job that I ask a friend if I could use his paypal. In my experience Mel has been prompt (actually fast is a better word), answers all questions and stands behind his merchandise.

I guess we were lucky, although I've heard of problems with other merchant services too.
