IVe read about the first 20 or so post on the BF.C thread. And I think it can reasonably bring some doubt to a buyers mind. But buying online typically does, doesnt it? I feeel the owner/manager went through a rough time with understaffing, and new products, etc. I feel he should get the benefit of the doubt until he proves otherwise. New market (E30s), new service potentially? Hopefully.....

        seriously.... one word dealership

Every online store is sketchy... especially car business. Just look at how many people get screwed over when they take thier car in the shop, and they screw you over right in your face...So over the internet, you bet its even easier.

Forums and thread doesnt mean alot, unless you ahve 5+ people complaining about the same thing. So that doesnt say anything about K.O. But,

        A little logistics lesson

new store, or new introductory car = low investment low inventory = low volume = may not have your item there and have stock shortage, but they won't tell you, because if they did they wouldnt sell a damn thing. They also have little to minimal pull with suppliers, so thier shipment or demand usually is second tier compare to high volume stores... = long lead time.

Old school store - lots of liquid flowing cash, lots of inventory, even short order and lead time will be insignificant to the end purchaser.

so bottomline, unless a store have something exclusive, they are all selling the samething, I would just hit the dealership, if you are unlucky to have a close and nice dealership near you, then use pelican parts or real oem... something proven and tested or else you are jsut setting yourself up for no reason what so ever... its all the same shit.

        my 2 cents

Um.... most BMW OEM parts are on stock and if you use our Make/Model search, our system will tell you in real-time whether the parts are in stock or not. We have four warehouses in California carrying most BMW OEM parts you can imagine.

And our pricing is to sell, hence our lowest price guarantee. Unless your item is something that has to be ordered from the dealer (something specific or euro, which we still offer lowest price guarantee), and it's in stock, it will be shipped out same day.

But I'll let the sales do the talking to prove you that our service is top notch quality at the best price.

Haven't been real active on r3v in recent times, but I thought I'd post a comment here.

Aside from issues that may have happened or things that may have been misconstrued in the past, I think that having Erick tied to the business ought to be a big peace-of-mind aspect for r3v members. He's been here for a while and is regularly around. That's a kind of reassurance I like to look for from supporting vendors.

+1, good insight Chris. I've done business with Erick and it was nothing short of excellent service. Having him represent a company speaks volumes to the customer service that company can offer.

I cant believe people would doubt such a company.

I ordered parts (extremely cheap, compared to everywhere else) and they got here in record time.

And my emails and calls were answered with promptness.

And Erick is a member here, and he has an E30!

Is the euro bumper trim for Plastics only or does it apply to DB cars as well?

                            Thanks,
