If you leave out the amber insert, it is smoked without any amber.

^^ some of the installed pics have a very distinct amber tint to them, others are a strait smoke color. I'm confused, how does that work? I don't want any amber in mine.

These things are great! If I didn't know better, I would assume they were stock. I have a clear set, which I actually smoked a bit to match my front end better, so now they look like the reguar smoked without the orange. My brother bought the smoked ones, they were a bit dark as far as light output is concerned, but good quality, and that was with the insert in.
