General Color Guide:

Kelvin is there "temp/color"

3K - Yellow
4500 - OEM "white"
5000 - White with Blue Tint
6000 - White with Purple Tint

I would not recommend anything higher as it gets more blue/purple. See picture below. The most important thing for people is looks and output. A 35W 4500 Kit is going to put out 3200 Lumens. Or Approx 3x the output of a standard 60w Halogen bulb. A 55W 4500 Kit is going to put out 5000 Lumens! AMAZING!!!

With a headlight upgrade as well we "project" the light more onto the road in a usable pattern where as the OEM headlights project light all over the place. I will let some of the members talk about the benefits. However, now that I have HIDs I will NEVER go back. I put HIDs into my e30 the 2nd day I had it. I have my buddy overnight apexcone HIDs!
