3/4" MDF, "Plum Creek" brand. The boxes weigh about 45 pounds total.

No worries, man...drop your cabbie off at my shop for a few weeks. Sell those type e woofers to someone with a hatchback, buy some decent ones. I think a pair of Audiobahn AW1006Ts in 3.2 cu.ft. should rock your world pretty good. In general, I hate Audiobahn. In specific, that woofer rocks.

I apparently need to buy a welder soon, I keep finding actual "need" for one, and subwoofers in a 'vert certainly qualifies as a "need".
