btw - for ppl that oven roasted their headlights, did it leave any lingering smell in the oven?

No lingering smell in my oven. I found that 350F was not quite hot enough to de-activate the glue on mine, I bumped it to 380F and that seemed to do the trick. You have to be very careful though, that is really hot and can melt plastic housings if you get distracted for a few minutes.

Here is a finished product using these crosshair plates. Definitely worth doing, it can completely change the look of your car.
