The Carr Industries "Daily Driven Track" Pack! ("DDT")
If you have a daily driven BMW E30 3 Series you also use for driving schools, open track days, and/or auto-x, this kit is designed specifically for your application.
We have used this setup on a daily basis while doing driving schools and autocrosses and have found these parts to be the absolute best compromise of street compliance and track resilience.
Buying parts as a kit saves $$
The kit consists of:
1. H&R Race Springs - matched with a quality damper, these springs are quite compliant on public roads while still providing excellent dynamic weight distribution control. Spring rates are 315lb/in front and 570lb/in rear.
2. Bilstein Sport damper set. 2 Sport struts, 2 Sport shocks.
The best factory matched damper for the H&R Race spring rates. Compliant on the street and composed on the track. Install and forget them.
3. Billet/Polyurethane rear shock mounts with unibody reinforcment. - A necessity for running Bilstein Sport dampers
4. Polyurethane Suspension Bushings -
A. Polyurethane offset control arm bushings (press fit) #SPF149K
B. 80A durometer(soft) polyurethane subframe bushings #E30SUB
C. 80A polyurethane trailing arm bushings #E30TRAILING
This is a very low squeak/vibration setup that provides considerable added stiffness to the weak points of the factory suspension design.
5. Brake Kit:
A. Hawk HP-Plus brake pad set (front and rear)
B. 4 Brembo OE rotors
C. Stainless brake line set #E30Brake
D. ATE Super Blue brake fluid
This is the best setup for a broad temperature operating range. Works well for auto-x and driving schools where pad/disc/fluid temperature is increased, but not to the point of needing dedicated race pads. Pads do create slight noise and dust.
ALL OF THESE PARTS CAN BE VIEWED/BOUGHT INDIVIDUALLY AT WWW.CARRINDUSTRIES.COM
