Dreaming... You might get 50 to say they are in, but to get 50 to actually throw down is a whole different story... IMHO I DO NOT see this happening, EVER.

How many people requesting one would make BMW reissue? A couple, a hundred?

If enough people try to order one BMW will reissue. This happened recently with the e10 (2002) euro turn signal lenses.

They are NLA, the last one was in a dealer in NY, USA I did a search about 2 weeks ago.

all factory parts comes primed that needs to be painted. Most of the time is a bit off whitish primer or gel coat they use.
