Good new - I'm tracking the parts now.

Parts should be here at the lab on Thursday around 5pm - I've cleared my calendar. Each unit is test twice before it ships.

so I looked under the car

can't seem to find the wires I need to tap into. Where do the wires come from, precisely? I would like to trace it back closer to the harness.

On my car, and yours may be slightly different, they split out of the main body harness around the fuse box. Travel down the fender well in the engine bay(along with the rubbery cruise control wire), they keep heading towards the headlights, when they slip down below just under the headlights, making a sharp turn down to the area shown in the pic. You are looking for BLUE and BROWN combo in a black plastic sheath(sp?).

Got mine over the weekend and got around to installing it today. "Install" is probably an overkill. The old sensor's socket was just hanging around. I used the included connectors. Now, the OBC displays the correct temp. :D
