Just contacted Tischer to get some factory floor mats for my e30 coupe, this was their response on availablility -

Mike, they are not available for any US dealership to order any longer. Unfortunately the site catalogs cannot be changed to reflect the availability of the items at this point. Thanks for keeping us in mind, though - Jason

god dam it! thats really annoying. does this mean they are NLA or just out of stock temporarily?

I'd interpred that as they are both no longer available to order and out of stock... So unless there are some dealers or companies out there with factory OEM inventory, I'd say we're SOL for new mats, along with their nice little attached locking system...

guys, e36 and e46 mats fit perfectly fine also if you cant find e30 mats. maybe even e90 mats.

as for the mounting questions that no one answered, your car should have the mounting points in the carpet already. there is a little knob that goes through a hole in the mat, then you twist, and it secures the mat in place.

how come my carpet doesnt have that? maybe because it came out of the dealer without the carpet option. so im hoping the carpet kit comes with the restraints....

I bought a set of Pearl Beige mats from Tischer last year, and they came with the screw in restraints.

Your carpet will not have it unless the PO had them installed from a OEM set of mats. They only come with a new set of mats. Every brand new e30 I saw from 1989-1992 did not come with them until we opened the new mats up at delivery time. Then we installed them...
