Jean, what spring length do you have on your other set of coilovers. I was thinkin you had some on your other e30 and curious on the lengths, I can't find anything on it in a search.
True. but unless you get super high spring rates then you still run into rubbing issues, even with the stretched tires.

Yes, your correct there. and that's why I'm not shortening mine. I'm going for a setup like alpinee30m52's setup.

What setup does he have? I was going for the same stance that he has.

              Bilstein sports, the struts aren't shortened and 375 f 475 r rates

haha, I think a lot of us are matching his stance.

How is he that low with that setup? I don't understand. Did he cut the original spring perches and use the ones GC provides? Please explain more. Thanks.

Yes... Ask him or look through his threads if you want the details of how he did his setup.

I tried searching for the thread about his suspensions setup, but I never found one. Do you have the link?

I can be in on this but I'm such a suspension noob. I don't know what I need

I have a set up for my front, I just need something for the rear. I have complete ti trailing arms....and stock 325ic rear suspension. I want to be able to make adjustments in ride height. Sould I just buy these coils and then upgrade my shocks?

                        Thanks,
                        ~Fernando

I hate to say this, but if you aren't sure what you need maybe an off the shelf H&R Sports or Race is all you really need.

Not trying to be a dick here, but just being honest.

Coil-overs allow you to a) adjust ride height which in terms allows you to play with balance of the car and b) choose spring rates .

This depends on the weight of the car, your driving style, your cars suspension, your tires, camber.

No offence taken, I just trying to learn....I understand what coilovers do. I don't track, autox, or race, so I guess your right, I don't NEED coilovers. I just like being low and want the best parts for my car. I have coilovers in my front and would just like to keep it the same for the rear.

He never had a thread about it. It was in one of the ones he was asked, then I asked him in his fender roller thread just yesterday.

Is there anymore room for this GB? What is the purchase date? I saw the cost on the first page, but is that for a set of 2 or 4 or just 1?

                                TIA
