Lof8, do you really expect Ary to go out and buy smaller tires to mount on a stock bodied car just so you can get an idea of fitment cause you cant comprehend how its going to fit. This isnt ground breaking wheel fitting, the wheels are going to fit just like all the other 16x9's at the same offsets. Get real.

I know I dont really have a reason to jump into this thread but your being a real douche..

i'm guessing it's not just the wait. i assume we all have a vague idea of the process and understand the time it takes to build a new wheel from scratch. the point here is that it would have been in good taste, based on the additional time we patiently waited beyond the original time line and based on the level of trust we put into Ary by fronting 50%, sight unseen, to get these wheels made. sort of like, "hey i know you guys have been waiting a while for these wheels, and i know most of you plan on running them on non-m cars, so i went ahead and mounted one under a standard front fender so you can see how much poke there actually is since i know that's what a lot of you are worried about."

i appreciate that these wheels are being made available to us and that Ary and company are doing all the leg work to get this thing done, but based on the fact that we as group fronted a good amount of money to get them into production, it would have been nice to see the extra step taken. no big deal, i'm just a bit disappointed.

and Erick, thanks for the pic. it alleviated some of my concern. are those fenders pulled at all, and if so how much.

Fleece and I are on the same page.

What was to be tested with this test set? Are the holes really 4x100? Is the centerbore really 57.1? I thought it was to test the stance/pokeage. Let me know if I'm wrong here.

sorry to come off as impatient, but I am a bit. I'd like to get a better feel about et10 vs et20 fitment in the rears of a normal e30 is all.

Will we have an opportunity to see the fitment difference in these two before deciding?

Stock fenders on my picture (still on stock fenders to this day)

As for the "paid deposit and then long delay deal", it kinda goes back to what I was saying: yes it sucks, and yes he's had our money for a while.

But in the end: Ary still is the one who has the most posts in this thread, meaning that he's on top of this situation. Ary has twice the posts from even the #2 poster in this thread.

If it was someone like Joe from DPI, last time you'd have heard from Ary would've been the same page where he posted that he collected the deposits. If that.

          - Erick

Oh and PS: My sig shows the rear stance on 16x9 +15. +20 would be 5mm inwards and +10 would be 5mm better looking. :p

Yes, that is exactly what I expected from the test set of wheels.
I'll leave this thread alone now and see where we are in a month or so. Sorry to irritate everyone.

Hey the Falken Azenis are no longer available in 225/45/16?

                        They only have 225/50/16

                        Is this an issue?

the tire is way to tall...

1010tires.com has a tire size calc. i would go with no bigger than the 225/45/16 for the 9"
