New to r3v but not to E30's--have two 89--325ic's---one auto garage queen and one 5spd "project". Curious as to the difference in stock to Brembo rotors. I was lucky enough to drive 928S4's for many years and they were one of the first US imported cars to use Brembo's---the setups were almost too good as you had to worry about the guy behind you as NO ONE could stop faster. So if I put Brembo rotors on a tired E30, what does it do for me?? Looks, feel, stopping power----are they a direct replacement for the stock rotor?? Huck

Brembo is actually the OEM rotors that came on the E30's from the factory. They are Great rotors either way. But if you are looking for something with more stopping performance I would diffenatly go with a Brembo/Zimmerman slotted or X-Drilled set. Which I have. But i diffenatly know how important stopping power is on the track. I would say that it is way more important than any type of motor modifications. This knowledge being that I was the Colorado state "Red Bull Driver Search" Winner as well as track record holder... Sorry I just had to brag a bit. haha. But basically You really cant go wrong with brembo rotors. Bottom line, one of the best manifactures of brakes in the world..
