GB Feeler E30 CF Doors 2-dr

Wanted to see if there's any interest in some CF replacement doors.
These would be full replacement doors, not just skins.
Manufactured in CA by Fiber Images.
Designed for 2-doors, they're retain the inner liners so you could still mount your window regulators.

Ballpark pricing is about $1400 + shipping for the pair
Pricey I know, but post up if you're interested!

Here are some sample pics from an A4 that was done. Doors, fenders, trunklid, and hood all carbon/kevlar.

Man if you guys make a late model front valence in carbon fiber that would be dope.

Could you explain how the inner liner (Crashbar structure, window motor/regulator interior panel mounting points) is retained, while at the same time not being just skins. Maybe close ups, or more detailed pics will explain.

Interested... would like more detailed pics... fit and finish?? Wet layup or dry? how many layers? door handle/lock and power window still work? all interior trim fit like stock?

What other e30 parts you have up your sleeve?

Unfortunately I don't know all the details of the construction. But my understanding is that it would be fabricated in a couple pieces. The door skin, the outer frame, then the inner door. Then they'd be bonded together with the inner door cutout just like the stock door. Then you can install the window regulators as normal. The crash bar would be removed.

It would be wet, I believe all their doors are done this way. They're designed to be as stock as possible. Whether all the exact mounting tabs and such will fit I don't know just yet. They haven't started on a mold or anything. Pricing is based solely on them taking a couple quick looks at the door, combined with their experience on others.

The goal obviously is to have as much as possible fit like stock. However since these are designed for the track, its possible some things might not work right.

I'm interested in some low buck door skins, no need for windows, all they need to do is bolt to factory hinges and have a latch.

Also a good cheap fiberglass hood would be nice. Just trying to ditch some weight for the track car.

Have you seen the hood from IE? They're pretty inexpensive and very light.
Just switched out our CF hood for one, and it's working well.
