    Lee,
Would it be possible to mount the new style pedal WITHOUT carpeting? Seems like it's a little taller and wider than the racer version. Wondering if that would be an advantage

Lee, They are works of art - functional & affordable - you hit a homerun!!

They can be installed "as is" or personalized, much like the valve cover. You can paint, powder coat, grain or polish, unique coatings, M-Tec tri colors etc.

    Well done!!

Here are a few shots of the Hartge-style footrest that works on e30s with carpeting in place. It is still made from stainless steel and CNC folded. THis first batch will go out for the same price as the previous units, but will go up in price (to $85usd) as there's more material. The dead pedal is 13" x 3.5" and bolts over the mushy foam foot rest.

Also available are floor plates for your racecar, made from stainless steel and aluminum. Two models, both being very strong, while the aluminum unit weights half as much as the stainless unit (600gr vs 950gr). Same price for both and only the future will tell me which type will survive. They go for $75usd each and bolt onto the floor pan. They are 16" x 7" x 7/8".

It is now 10:18AM and I should receive a first batch of parts in 30 minutes. I will take pictures of the Hartge style pedal and the floor plates. We had to rework the folding matrix for the M-Technic units, which I was promised I should now get on Wednesday.
Keep in mind that there are some funky folds in that unit, and some special gigs must be machined. The extra work and parts required to produce the M technic units will probably ask for a slightly higher price. Not much, I promise...

Cool. Glad you are making floor plates. I'm gonna hold out for the floor plates to be done before I order the race dead pedal.

    Let us know, man!

The floor plates raises the pan to where it was before removing the carpet. It is located near the pedal area.

I had a very basic one in my 2002 racecar. It will be replaced by the new unit.

Lee, is the intent with the floor plates to level out the (uneven) E30 floor?
