The RC cap is a thread in design which track people don't use anyway because they add 0.5lbs, can fall off, cover the lugs, and are expensive (I recently sold my mint caps to a friend because they are $95 each. producing any kind of cover would be costly because of the low volume. It accepts click in caps such as the OEM bmw roundels, and will come with a Carbon Fiber look center cap with logo.

Basically the point is to get the best/most wheel for your money :p

It's great to see the wheel in real life with the post of the GB. This is the way to get a wheel GB going. People out there need to take note.

This first batch WILL NOT include 4 lug wheels. But I will see if the wheel can be modified in the future to become a 4 lug (although a minimum number of buyers would be needed to do this)

You guys are showing a lot of interest in a 4 lug version for obvious reasons. I can change the offset at the same time as well. But there would be only one width/offset for the 4 lug size because of the quantities that need to be produced.

Pricing would start at $249 but could be a tiered Group Buy. So discounts could lower the overall price or at some point reach free shipping (after a minimum is reached). Again because of the minimum number of wheels produced in a batch, there would need to be a minimum of about 20 people.

I'll start a list here of people who are honestly interested in the wheel and would pay up to $249 each. An official GroupBuy wouldn't start until the 5 lug wheels arrived, AND I have a 4 lug sample in hand, which is probably a little over 2 months. To be conservative I would say it would be 4-5 months before a wheel like this in 4 lug could be on your car.

I'm not certain how much different the brake hat and caliper placement is on the non M3's, but here is a test fitment of Lee's largest BBK for the E30 M3. In the tightest spot there is 6mm of clearance. Everywhere else there is a ton of room.

Factory rush shipped me the additional samples so I just received them an hour ago instead of next week.

Here's what the UPS guy dropped off. Hyper Silver and Hyper Black. They told me the sample of Hyper black I received earlier probably had too much silver on it from being hand sprayed. This sample seems very similar to the silver as well, so I'm going to scrap the Hyper black wheel, as it 90% similar to regular silver. If anything the dark paint on the barrel just makes some shadows darker. Its been raining for two days now so I can't take photos outside. Maybe there will be a more noticeable difference. Either way I see no need to add the option.
