yeah. its big & heavy, but i was really impressed with the power it made when i first bought it back in the day and i got a deal (worked @ best buy in college). at the time i was running it all to a 15" solobaric and it freakin' pounded. but the 15 just won't fit in the back of the e30. nonetheless, thanks for the advice and i'll start seeking out a sub. thanks again. -
Oh yeah, we got the prototype 10" box ready to install.
Gonna be baller...now if I can get Johnny-poo to post a pic.

Fuck. An 800.2? No concerns about weight there, huh? Even if you ran that bitch in 8 ohms mono, you could still make one hell of a boom!piss. just saw this post after i posted. sorry to bother you with the same ole "which sub do you recommend" shit. i'm running a RF 800.2 to run the sub. the specs say 200wx2 @ 4ohm, 400wx2 @ 2 ohm, & 800wx1 @ 4ohm. does that fucking beast of a big sub have a 4ohm variant? or is there any way to run that amp into a mono 2 ohm load (i don't know shit about that stuff). thanks again for all the audio help you provide to the forum...
I think the best bet for you (right off the top of my head) is gonna be a P2 or P3 Punch woofer...in dual 2 ohm.

Pick an amp, I will help you with the woofer.
If you choose a mono (1 channel) amp that makes its best power on a 2 ohm load, I have a beast (by beast, I maean a fucking BEAST of a BIG sub) available pretty damn cheap. Ask Beirbrenner about the one he has...
But yeah, the V2 is all we have plans on right now.

Luke:
The V2 boxes are the ones that port into the rear deck right? If that is so, I still want one. I would also like it if you would post or PM some suggestions for a sub.

More news, I forgot some important shit, so not gonna ship until tuesday next week.
3 V2 boxes are basically ready.
We are gonna do 6 10" boxes total, 2 are already sold, so 4 are available.
the 10" boxes are $150, the V2 boxes are $175.
Shipping is USPS, takes for freeking ever, no tracking either...but is typically $35ish vs. $125 for Fed-Ex. Figure right at 50 pounds, you should be able to fake it.

Sealed, E28, Zen, E36 and E46 are all still in the works.Leave a comment:

OK, R3V, first 3 should ship tomorrow, I am headed back north.
Gotta work on Saturday, next day off John Parker and I build 6 more.
PM me for PayPal info. Should ship friday, worst case, next tuesday.

I measure it at 11" across the face. Looks like the hole needs to be 10" or maybe a little smaller. You may want to give them a call back.Leave a comment:

Please do, as the spec their sheet gave me shows 11.9" outside diameter.....this could be a major disaster stopped in its tracks...

I think he gave you the wrong measurement. Is that diameter from Edge to Edge or the size of the hole needed to sit the sub in?
I am assuming edge to edge. I'll measure it, as I have not yet sent it in to be repaired.Leave a comment:
