Well PayPal ruled against me even though all I got was an envelope with a piece of paper. I am going to contact my bank now. Wow, PayPal no bueno. Be careful with guys like this. New guy, no history on the forum, run don't walk. Sorry people like this prey on people in our community. Thanks for everyone's help.

No it was for a set of E36 Alpina wheels. I also was dumb enough to pay friends & family, but via a credit card so after paypal did nothing for me, I filed a dispute with the credit card company. We'll see if I end up getting my $$ back.

Good advice - I would not know how to proceed with this process. Contact the Police in his country? BTW Paypal closed all the disputes because - DUMMY me paid him as family&friends. Please send me any info so I can go after this guy. He needs to get burned!

I was recently scammer by someone who posts on mye28 and R3VLimited - userid: Mario2011 - He posts items 4-SALE baits folks takes their funds and disappears. Refusing to respond to PM's, Emails and form of communication. I was taken for over $1,000 and just learned of 2 other BMW folks fell prey to this scumbag. I have 4 Disputes with Paypal - I believe there is a total of 6-7 outstanding. Hope they catch this guy and SHUT HIM DOWN.
Please let the ADMIN's know of Mario2011 activities. He should be banned.

Always look at the package weight if provided. The sending something of low value other than the item in question is an oldie. PP should take care of it, but some of their international policies have changed lately.

Wow, so he gave you a tracking number and it was that. I never buy from overseas. I know there are legit sellers over there, but its not worth the risk.
