can someone on here post a picture of their e36 shift boot frame for me?

I sent him a picture of mine and he said it is different than the one he is using to make the patterns out of.

          Mine is in a 95 e36 m3/2/5

Well that is what all E36s have. So maybe Matt thinks he has an E36 frame and he doesn't?

idk. He made and shipped mine promptly, and the fit was so good, its held on by nothing but precision. Seriously, my shift boot has no clue clips, cuts or anything. He also tracked down more material for me to do more interior work that matches.

ive had my boots from matt since around christmas and love them.
If i recall, i ordered mine from him and got them within like 3 days. He even hepled me out a bit with the payment style since i didnt have a paypal account.

Overall i love my boots and would/will buy more from him in the future.

I've never dealt with matt-b but everyone I know that has done business with him, seems very pleased. That being said, My brother does auto upholstery and has seen this before, its a common issue and all you have to do is pull on the material a little and make it fit snug around the frame. Clips are not necessary, maybe the OP should try a little glue.

                          Good luck

I don't think the boots are suppose to fit loose on the frame. to me it looks like the material has plenty of slack to fit over that frame.
