being an investigator and dealing with the Postal Inspectors, im sorry to say that your case may not get very far. These people receive reports of approximately 10,000 cases of mail fraud a week. Mostly Nigerian scams, and check fraud. So if it isn't for big money 10,000+ you're better off flying over the address and kicking his assComment

As you guys can see I'm new to the site, but I'm also a Subaru owner and on NASIOC they don't take too kindly to cheats and they usually ban these guys pretty quickly and usually people who live near him volunteer to go beat on his door. They also have a ratings system where you can see a guys ratings on transactions right next to his profile. Sounds like STU has ripped off a couple of people and been a pain in the ass to deal with for others. With there was a good remedy.
Actually I almost got screwed a few years back on a $500 amp, and it did go through the postal inspectors service and about 6 months later I actually got a letter back from them with my Money Order.Comment

I was going to buy a rear sway bar from him that he insisted on getting a money order for.....Man glad I didn't!!
I don't know about ya'll but using paypal, even if they take fees out, give me a little bit of that warm fuzzy feeling. Kind of like a guarantee on the boxsigpic

You guys mean Stu McHenry right?????
Stu's father is a long time trusted fixture in the BMW community - long before there was even an "internet"
It seems the apple fell far, far from the tree.
You might be able to leave a message at his father's shop.

Yeah, I've been doing some snooping around on this profile etc. and even looked at his Cardomain page and I have all the contact info for his dad. I was hoping that by posting this thread the Stu or someone who knows him would realize that there's some unhappy campers out there.Comment

Nice, a Moderator chimes in and even though multiple other members are stating bad experiences or currently being out of pocket and no goods received from STU, the only comments are:
So what you're saying its stealing and cheating of other members is ok as long as you've been on the site a long time? What a fucking crock of shit. Why don't you ban me know for trying to raise awareness of a shitty seller.Comment

Stu is a good guy, but this is BS.
Communication. It's not that hard, if someone PM's or emails you a bunch of times asking about where the hell their parts are- the worst thing you can do is ignore them. If you're having problems, delays, whatever- tell the buyer what the deal is. 99% of the time they'll be OK with it, the other 1% of the time they'll pitch a fit and you can just offer to refund their $$$ (provided you didn't blow it all at the gay adult bookstore on their "2 for 1 gloryhole extravaganza") You know who you are........cough...cough....Blunt........
If you can't follow through with the parts you sell, send a refund and your apologies. If you can't meet the buyers terms, do the same- you'll both be much better off.
There is no excuse.Comment
