rob is a nice guy and all, but needs to get his shit together. i'm sorry, but i'm pretty pissed. he posted some h&r race springs for sale a little while ago (http://www.r3vlimited.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16165) and as you can see i was first to respond and we PM'd, talked on the phone a few times and came to a deal. i told him i'd be getting the money order sent out today hopefully (1/10/05). so i go get a money order and all that. luckily i didn't know his address so i had to call him. he says to hold off on the money order because his friend is going to buy the springs instead. this information would have been REALLY nice to know before i went out and got a money order.

rob's a nice guy to talk to, but i didn't have a good experience dealing with him (or trying to). i said nothing mean to him on the phone or over PM, and even now i'm being pretty conservative. just remember to keep your word on something folks.

I bought 4 borbet type c's from him a while back. He was to buy them back from me. I held on to them in good faith that he would eventually come and get them. He strung me along, and finally (after months of storing them in my small appartment) told me he no longer wanted them.

i posted a negative feedback on him also about some h&r race springs i was supposed to buy. i had the money order ready, and was just confirming his mailing address before i mailed it out. i call him up, and he says that he sold the springs to his friend instead. so basically i lost money getting the money order.

i will NEVER do business with him again, and i advise everyone else to do the same.

if i was a thief i would have took your money. but i didnt and would never do anybody wrong like that.

to george: yeah when you called me for the wheels you asked if i could hold them for you. so i did! i assumed you would buy them at my asking price. but then you showed up and try to low ball me after i held the wheels for you. if you ask me thats kinda flaky.

Well Jonny on the spot - I never said I didn't like the rims...My feedback was in regards to you being flaky.

And I didn't try to low ball you, the rims were for sale for $300 "OBO" - If I had gotten there and they were trash, I would have offer you $150, I assesed there condition/value and offered you $250. Hardly a "low ball" offer.

Robs a good guy. I had a trans and clutch swap done to my 318i. Great price and super fast! Less than a day. Job was done and I was happy! Thumbs up for Rob, he can get anything done.
