Thanks so much for your reply. I know that Matt sold lots of stuff here. I want to think he is just going through hard times and he will come through but next week it will be one month since he has been paid so I am getting concerned.

I have edited this post to let you all know that over a month after I paid Matt the steering wheel was delivered to my neighbor. He came by this afternoon with the box and said that he found it in his landscaping. I am still very disappointed in Matt's attitude and lack of communication and would not purchase anything from him in the future.

So the fact that the wheel was delivered to your neighbors address instead of your is M4TTs fault? Did you look at the shipping address or just assumed he messed it up? Also did you look at when the item was dropped off? It could have been sitting in your neighbors location for who knows how long.

typical negative feedback for a problem that the seller had no control over.

Now to list the wheel for sale in the first place is another story all together.

Jim, I have answered every e-mail you have ever sent me within minuets! There has never been a moment you could not get in touch with me an as you know you have 2 e-mail addresses, my pm here, and my phone number in which you chose to use all of them every time you contacted me.. You have your wheel and yet you insist on continuing this harassment in my opinion so lets spell it all out so every one can know the truth!!!

You paid me with a personal check! I received the check from you on the January 4th. I did not drop everything I was doing to run to the bank so it went in with my normal deposits. I waited 10 BUSINESS days to make sure I would not get the check back which is very reasonable considering most would not accept the check in the first place and the ones who listen to there bank would wait 15 BUSINESS days. so I then shipped the item to the address you supplied in a pm, 2 e-mails and a phone message to me! I DON’T KNOW YOU. I don’t have a mythical web site where I looked up your neighbors address and asked ups to just leave it in the bushes! What I think is more along the lines of you are an impatient, Arrogant, Asshole that cant help but keep on badgering me through e-mail, pm's, and post. IF your not happy mail it back and I will paypal you the money back. Ill even pay the shipping charges! if it was damaged when ups flung it out the back door as they drove by then file a claim with them, I insures it for 500.00! you have used the word scammer enough times so now everyone knows your story. You can now run along and know the boards are now once again safe because you have done your job!!! Just please GO away!

Matt, I have left out details so as to not drag you down any deeper into the mud but I will address your comments one last time. I have saved all correspondence and will list the events as they happened. At that point I am done with you.

On 12-22-09 you sold me the steering wheel and I transferred money into your PayPal account. For some reason you had problems with PayPal and they chose to hold the funds so you refunded my payment back to my PayPal account. You requested that I directly deposited funds into your bank account which I did not feel comfortable doing so I sent you a personnel check on 12-24-09 so I would have a receipt of the payment. On the 25th I PM'd you letting you know that I sent the check and to wish you a Merry Christmas. I checked with my bank and the check posted on 12/30/09. On 1/4/10 I sent you a PM wondering if you had shipped the package and making my first request for the tracking number. You told me that you had received the check on Thursday (12-31-09) and requested a mailing address which was not only on the envelope for the payment but also on my check. On 1-10-10 I sent you a PM letting you know that I had not received the tracking number or the steering wheel. I did not receive a response to the PM within 24 hours so I sent you an email. You responded on 1-11-10 at 1:43pm telling me that your house caught on fire and you promised me a tracking number "ASAP". On 1-14-10 I sent you email letting you know that the bank had posted the payment on 12/30/09 and that it had been 14 days since you signed and deposited the check. I was still being nice to you at that point and requested a tracking number again or to refund my money. What really got me upset is your continued refusal to send me a tracking number to verify that you had shipped the steering wheel. At this point you stopped communicating and I receive no response to my request for the tracking number. So I went back and found that you had 3 different email addresses so I sent ONE email to all three addresses trying to get you to respond to my simple request for a tracking number. You responded at 8:52pm on 1-14-10 stating that the wheel was boxed up and ready to ship the following day (1-15-10). On 1-15-10 I again requested a tracking number for the shipment. With no response, I sent you another email on 1-18-09 again requesting a tracking number. In this email I stated that I thought you were running a scam on me due to you refusal to supply me with any evidence of the shipment being made and let you know that on the 1-21-09 I would start pursuing legal action to retrieve my money. You responded on 1-18-10 9:22pm

"Jim. I have never '' ran a scam" as you put it on anyone. I told you the wheel would be shiped and it did. I am not at the office where I can get you the tracking information. E-mailing me 6 times a day will not make it get there faster. You will get your wheel. I told you that you will get it. Please. Don't message me 10 times a day. I cannot make it get there faster. If I still had the wheel I would rather just give you your money back rather than deal with this!"

I responded requesting the tracking number. I explained to you that I had money stolen on an internet sale and apologized for my accusations even though it had taken a long time to get the package. Your response was that you left the tracking number on your desk at work and could not get it for me until the 19th. The 19th came and went and still no tracking number so on 1-20-10 I sent you an email letting you know that I was done with this and was contacting the US District Court. Your response was.

"Jim. What the hell! You mailed a CHECK on the 24th. I got it on the 29th. I put it in the bank on the 4th. I waited 10 days as anyone would and then shiped your item. It went out on the 15th. Thanks Matt Harper"

So, I decide to wait some more and not start any legal actions hoping that you were telling me the truth this time. Oh yeah, still no tracking number Matt! On 1-27-10 I responded to your last email.

“Matt,” What the Hell" you ask me? I have never received a tracking number, probably because it was never shipped. You said that you shipped it on the 15th and here it is the 27th and still no package has arrived. You are running a scam on me and I will not stand for it. I will give you until the end of today to refund my money to my PayPal account. Otherwise this is the last attempt for me to get this resolved. I just finished up with a guy like you, it took two years but the District Court did prosecute the scammer and that is what you can expect to happen. People like you must be taught a lesson on honesty! Jim”

That same day you responded.

“Jim I have had all your fucking mouth I'm going to take. Your package was delievered yesterday at the front gate. Take your smart mouth and your threats and your court and stick them in your ass! Don't fucking e-mail me again. I'm hate selling over the Internet because of smart ass people like you. Enjoy the wheel.. Thanks Matt Harper”

At this point I did not know what to think. Later that afternoon my neighbor came by to tell me that a package had been thrown into his landscaping and he did not now how long it had been there. I started feeling bad because maybe it was not your fault after all. So I took the tracking number and checked the history. Tracking Number UPS Ground 1Z 051 58W 03 6710 9927, which showed the shipping date of 1-20-10 delivery on 1-26-10.

This is the history of the sale. If you want I can post every email and PM to verify this is the truth. Can you? Matt you are a liar and you did a poor job at taking care of business with this sale. I also got a PM from another forum member who was having the same problem with you. I was not going to bring up all these details because I just wanted to use this tool to warn others here on the forum of the problems that I had with you. Even when your buddy posted here yesterday I wanted to be done with this so I PM's him more details instead of dragging this out any longer. Now you respond, like I am the bad guy. You are truly a piece of work.

Your right, I got your money way back 2 days before I said I did. and I kept your money and was going to rip you off for 225.00. but you scared me into shipping it to you after a whole 12 days and not the 10 i said! and i got on Google maps and used your address to locate your neighbors address, I shipped it using your address but paid and extra 100.00 to have it delivered to your neighbors house. Then I paid a local ups guy 50.00 to give me the phone number of the local number for your ups hub and paid your local ups driver another 100.00 to through it in the bushes outside your neighbors house..
I just thought if I could steal your 225.00 I could go on vacation or retire. All I need is 225.00 to pay my self out of dept!

So I took your 225.00 But paid 250.00 plus shipping to make your life hard. It was a lot of work but man it was worth it..

Please Jim re read my last e-mail to you a couple of more times! I meant every word of it.
