tranceguy was selling an e30m50 nearly completed. i called and talked to him about the car 3 times. specifically asking twice if the car was ever repainted....he assured me that it was the original paint. we struk a deal. the pics i got cleverly disguised the damage / repaint. i traveled 700 miles with a trailer to see a really crappy repaint before i even got out of the truck. I GOT SCAMMED. EVERYTHING was repainted an orangepeel black with drips..... except for the window gaskets, which the tape line was only halfway across the gaskets. door handles, key holes, windshield washer nozzeles, bumper trim, marker light trim.....only lights, and windows were taped off. when i confronted him, he got really defensive and said he didnt have all the records from the previous owner.
lowering springs were actually ghetto spring compressors
65k mile motor had missmatched coils and burnt sludge in oil cap (looks like a 165k motor)
the list goes on......
im trying to be as polite as possible. i spent over $100 in diesel and 13 hours behind the wheel because someone could not be truthfull.
