Purchased 2 M3 front struts from him on January 29th. Told me he was going away on a trip for a week. Mailed a Postal MO. He notified me he'd recieved the MO. Asking price was $100... sent him a MO for $150 to cover cost of struts plus shipping.

Fast forward to today... March 12, 2005.

No struts, no tracking numbers, continues to make excuses and apologize for being a slow shipper.

I am a very patient person, but when someone sends me an e-mail saying "I have them still and they will go out, I'm just procrastinating terribly." I have no patience for this blantent display of disrespect.

I have begun exploring legal recourse to regain my money and/or my struts.

Purchased four 14x6.5 basketweaves from him on January 27th. I was going to transfer funds from my bank account and then pay him, but then he said he was going on a trip for a week and needed the money now and it wasn't going to cut it, so I used my credit card to pay him instantly.

Tuff24x (11:32:50 PM): ok, i'll ship them out Monday most likely
    .....
Tuff24x (12:11:18 AM): i'll PM you when they go out

  Over a month later.....have not been shipped out.

Tuff24x (4:43:45 PM): tomorrow or the next day
Tuff24x (4:44:02 PM): i need to find boxes for them still, i don't have any left
RWH11385 (4:44:08 PM): alright, let me know when you do and pass along the tracking #
Tuff24x (4:44:20 PM): try to get it done tomorrow
    RWH11385 (4:44:29 PM): alright, thanks
Tuff24x (4:44:43 PM): thanks for being so patient with my slow ass
RWH11385 (4:45:50 PM): yeah, just getting anty
    RWH11385 (4:46:02 PM): antsy*
Tuff24x (4:46:16 PM): i know, i should have had them out weeks ago, my fault
Tuff24x (4:46:57 PM): i'm just terrible at getting stuff boxed up to go out, once it's boxed it's no prob, getting the boxes is another story al together
RWH11385 (4:47:03 PM): just be sure to get them out, so I can stop worrying
    Tuff24x (4:47:10 PM): ok
    March 9th:
    RWH11385 (10:48:42 PM): hey
PMTuff24x (11:07:36 PM): you'll get your wheels, i'm just lagging on shipping them

Tuff24x (11:08:23 PM): but you will get your wheels
RWH11385 (11:08:31 PM): both Chris and I don't like being told it'll be the next day
Tuff24x (11:08:34 PM): and have a tracking number by friday

Tuff24x (11:09:34 PM): i know, i know, i feel bad, but i'm already here in the situation, so all i can do is say yes, i will ship them and you will get them and you will have a tracking # by friday
RWH11385 (11:09:35 PM): and we can stop worrying you'll never come through in our lifetimes
    RWH11385 (11:09:46 PM): thank you
Tuff24x (11:11:06 PM): like i said, i feel really bad, but at this point all i can do is give you empty promises until you have an actual tracking number because i have already broken your trust by taking so long
Tuff24x (11:11:19 PM): i apologize, and will have tracking number soon
Tuff24x (11:11:55 PM): want me to talk to chris or are you going to relay it to him?
RWH11385 (11:12:12 PM): he'd probably want it to come from you
Tuff24x (11:12:39 PM): i know, was just hoping i wouldn't have to get yelled at again, i guess i have it MORE than coming though
    RWH11385 (11:12:50 PM): yeah
Tuff24x (11:13:04 PM): anyways, i'll let you get back to your evening and i'll go talk to chris also
RWH11385 (11:13:04 PM): it's life. it's stressful, but you have to meet obligations
RWH11385 (11:13:18 PM): thanks, and I'll feel a lot better when you get the tracking # out
Tuff24x (11:13:26 PM): alrightSession concluded at 11:13:30 PM
He's said they'd be shipped several weeks ago, but nothing. He said he'd have a tracking number yesterday....and nothing. All he does is make empty promises to me and two other members.....and has our money. I don't know what is so difficult about keeping obligations, but if he cannot come through he shouldn't be selling items. For certain, he is disrespecting us my his lack of consideration. And he is possibly a thief.

Paypal Dispute Claim Filed Hopefully I get my money or my wheels.

Sorry guys. I promise I'll get them shipped on Monday.

I am not trying to steal your money.
I have always stayed in contact with you, even when I had no good news to give you and was most likely going to get yelled at (because I deserved it) for not shipping your parts yet.

I ordered a steering rack for my volvo from him back in january. I got it late febuary because he has been piled up with various things (and his shipper decided to have a grudge against him and not ship my damned rack  ). All in all it came fine, just a tad bit delayed ;)

EDIT: For proof he does actually ship things.. here is my shipping label on the box :P

Why are you going threw all this trouble to back him up?
You joined an E30 forum and posted pictures just to defend him, you even blurred out your address. Its pretty obvious he is a worthless ass that doesn’t disserve to sell things online.

I just talked to him online and said he was on his way out to the shipping place eventually, so hopefully I have a tracking number tonight.

Tried to buy 2 e30's off of him - he was very shaddy. I ended up not doing business with him.

His family and him run a small used car dealship in a small old gold rush town in the foothills. (use to live there - the town had one stoplight)

                too funny.....

You can kiss my <edited> George.

Talk to either of the guys that bought the M3 or the black 90 325i that I sold. They were both more than happy. You were "considering" the black 90 if memory serves. Didn't want something that expensive.
(PLEASE tell me I'm wrong and that you are the guy that came and drove my M3.)

Even Mitch who is most likely pissed as Chris and Robert (that is most likely reading this as I hadn't shipped his rack out yet either) will tell you I can describe a car and will provide more pictures than most ANYONE else. I sent Mitch 100, yes ONE HUNDRED pictures of the Henna e30 he bought from me.
Matter a fact, they are still online:

                  Anyways.....
                  Parts are shipped.
I put a bunch of extra stuff in each box to sort of make up for taking so long to ship. K&N air filter, a chip, new hood and trunk emblems, new center cap stickers, anything I had I tossed it in there for them. I don't remember who got what, they can swap, trade or sell off the parts as they see fit. Was just a small gesture on my part to try to make up for taking so long.

                  UPS tracking number for Chris:
                  1Z9858510341577625

                  UPS tracking numbers for Robert:

                  1Z9858510341748646

To Chris, Robert and Mitch, my deepest apologies.
I should have taken care of this a long time ago.

                  Sincerely,

I would like to add, when i made my initial post, I was rather disgruntled and upset.

Patrick, although being slow at shipping, has maintained a very kind and respectful stance throughout this entire transaction. Very often appologizing on numerous occasions.

I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again, but i would just make sure I didnt expect the parts to arrive ASAP. He is good about keeping in touch even though it sometimes results in angry responses.

Thanks for the kind words Chris, especially in light of the situation that I caused and take full responsibility for.

For the record, I have been in contact with Mitch via email and phone and his items (yes, he got bonus make up for being slow stuff too) are also shipped and he has the tracking number as well. He seems to be okay with everything to me as he is trying to buy a LSD from a friend of mine through me. Guess he doesn't need it anytime soon! (okay, bad timing for that joke, but I laughed anyways.)

George, I would also like to publicly apologize to you as I did go a bit overboard on your comments.
My reasoning was that I felt as if you were just jumping on the bandwagon. I have never really had any dealings with you.
{Unless you are the guy that came and drove my e30 M3, to which I wouldn't have sold it to at any price. He couldn't drive and didn't deserve such a car. AND he wasn't going to get one from me. I was never a typical "car dealer". I was never money motivated and I only did cars I liked with people I liked.
                            If you are referring to the grey/silver 325is I was trying to help with, your comments are totally out of line. It was not my car, I wasn't trying to make any money on it and I was just trying to help a fellow e30 enthusiast find a decent car. I stated that from the VERY BEGINNING. I think you and a couple others were interested, but the car dis-appeared before anything came of it.}
                            -Patrick
