I just wanted to warn anybody that is about to buy something from Turf1600 to please refrain from doing so. On or about June 14 I sent him payment for an item and it is now August 1. I never received merchandise and have tried contacting him a numerous amount of times with no response. Turf1600, if you are going to be a dead beat then this forum is not the place for you. Take your skateboard and go back outside little boy.

Finally responded 2 weeks later with "Did this ever show up" I simple told him no it did not and I haven't heard from him again in about a month now. No Item received and no refund issued. Let me tell you this is the first time I have had this happen through an internet transaction let alone on ever on a BMW board that I frequent.

I've been buying and selling on here for 4 years without a problem. If anything ever went wrong I fixed it. I wasn't on here very much for a few months and this guy wasn't exactly quick to tell me what was up. I think the lapse between selling the part and the first PM saying it didn't show up was like 2 months. By that time it was well out of my mind - plus the pm came right in the middle of my hiatus.

I bought some euro grills, rear euro trim and an E30 car cover from Turf1600 a year or so ago. I got the grills and trim super fast, but the car cover never showed up since we figured it had gotten lost in the mail (shipped via USPS). After talking with him, Pat (turf) refunded me the $50 a week later with zero questions.

Have nothing but a positive outlook from the transaction and hope everything works out.

Yeah well still its 5 months later and all I have to say is still NO oil cooler, NO refund, and NO update from the seller either. At least it was only $55 and not hundreds.

Just to follow up on this - I sent a PM in september asking if the part had arrived and didn't get a response until december which is when I sent a refund. The post office determined that the item had been delivered and it was well past the point that paypal was going to do anything about it - but I had to take his word and refund the $$$ anyways.

Received a PM stating box had been shipped on the 6th of Jan.

I requested the shipping information via PM on Feb. 1st. (NO REPLY)

As of Feb.16th....still no reply or part.

He last posted on Feb. 10th.......WTF!

I paid the day the auction ended (which was 2 weeks ago) and have not received the regulator. After attempting to contact Pat twice with no response, I'm forced to start a paypal claim to recoup my money before it's too late. As a word of warning I would stay away from this user if looking to buy.

I am more than willing to work with a seller if they are in a bind or something, but having not heard a word from him I am very hesitant.

I most certainly sent you a previous message on ebay, it is still in my sent folder. However, all arguments aside, I did just receive a notice from ebay saying it was shipped. Updating a buyer on shipping is pretty standard procedure. Hopefully everything makes it here safe. Thanks

Sounds to me like Turf needs to learn a bit about selling items on the internet, whether he's been doing it "for years" or not. When the item is posted on a forum, it is understood that you are ready to ship in a reasonable amount of time(within 48 hours of receiving payment). If you need more time or something comes up, you NEED to inform the buyer and let them know why you are delayed. Communication is key, man. It seems like lack of communication is the only reason your transactions have gotten bad feedback. I personally would be irate waiting 2 weeks for you to even ship an item and post it as shipped, but if you got online and told the buyer it would be that long, I bet at least broke30 wouldn't have had a beef. ;)
