I bought the silicone intake boot from them 2 weeks ago. The boot was so half assed. The inside had pieces sticking up from the vacuum lines being siliconed in. The MAF side of the intake boot is incredibly small and took forever to force it over the MAF. The plugs they sent me to plug the vacuum line holes (which i don't really need) don't even fit. they are WAY too small with an 1/8" gap when put in the holes. for 95 dollars (with shipping) i should have just bought an ebay boot and siliconed the vacuum lines in.
EDIT: this is the m50 boot. also they couldn't even put the fucking "bimmerworld" lettering on correctly, they put it on upside down.

Weird. My boot came in great shape with zero flaws, everything fit great. They even sent me all new hose clamps and some stickers. Will buy from again for sure.Comment

I would definitely call them and tell them to send me another one, but the m50 swap is in a week and don't want that down time.

can't fix what they don't know is broken...
p.s. wtf do you need to plugs for anyway?Comment

this make no sense. have you talked to them before posting this. or doing a useless rant. a business that does as much part sales as them is bound to fuck it up every once in awhile, and thats why they need to be informed by the customer directly, not by some forum basher...

i had the same intake boot and the little "pieces" will be there no matter where you get a complex boot like this from. you said you don't "really" need the nipples so if you didn't why would you make your own boot and reattach them.
you don't have time to get it replaced, w.e, run it but still call and let them know whats up...Last edited by Dominic49; 09-11-2010, 07:44 PM.Comment

Then the answer is yes I know how to read. And, no you did not call them and direct your concerns to the proper audience.

The included plugs, which I don't really even need (and therefore shouldn't even complain about,) are for the vacuum nipples in the boot. Unfortunately these plugs do not quite fit the nipples (which once again this isn't an issue for me as I won't be using them.)
or something along those lines...Comment

the proper structure should of been:
