I should have opened the box this morning before I wrote my last post since the package DID NOT CONTAIN THE CROSS DRILLED ROTORS! There were NO ROTORS AT ALL!

Just spoke to Rob. They decided to ship the kit without the rotors since they received shipping confirmation earlier from Wilwood that the rotors are on the way to UUC from Wilwood. I will not see the rotors for at least another week.

Again, no note in the package stating this, no call, no email...poor communication.

Sorry Rob but you lost another customer here...

I think it's funny that the OP was so mad at UUC when it is obviously a supply problem at D-Force.

I work for a company that also sells the D-force wheels and can certainly relate to old hotballs in terms of his frustration over availability/backorder. Hell, I sold a set of D-force wheels back in July and they're still on backorder.

On the other hand, I deal with UUC all the time and those guys are great. They are always available for questions and they ship their UUC branded items super fast. I had a tracking number for my sway bars 2 minutes after I hung up the phone.

I wouldn't judge them for something as far outside their control as this wheel issue.

No. I'm just lonely. I don't even own an e30. - I just got a "smartcar" but.... I meet this guy named "blunt" and this is the only interaction I can get from him

Hence the 14,000 posts. I have nothing to offer.

Just chiming in to say every experience I've had with UUC has been good. I've never had a bad transaction.

I've never dealt with Rob/UUC directly, but I can say for certain that their parts are top quality, and I've had no problems acquiring them from Turner. Great products ultimately mean more to me than customer service, but it is the customer service that leads to my decision on whether or not to turn to a vendor for repeated business, or even business at all.

Excuse the late bump, but I ordered front and rear rotors from UUC 9 days ago, needed them for this coming weekend for a project car. Seeing as they were listed as in stock I figured I would get them in plenty of time at the time that would have been 10 days, even shipping ups ground listed as 5-7 business days. Ordered them received the conformation email. And began to wait, after 7 days went by with no email or update from them I started wondering what happened. Then on the 8th I receive notice that my order has gone through and is going out to be shipped, what? 8 days to process? So I give them a call and find out that the rotors are being drop shipped from California. In all my years of ordering parts I have never had a company take 8 days to process a drop shipment for something listed as instock. When i called yesterday i was informed that i should see movement on the shipment that night, 36 hours later the shipment is still just waiting "ready for ups" which means best case it gets picked up friday and i see it maybe next friday. Which would be 17 days for a drop shipment delivery, over a half a month are you kidding me? Maybe I have been spoiled by other companies shipping and ordering policies if I am let me know, but 17 days for 4 rotors listed as "In Stock". Seriously?

So I guess we have found out that UUC doesn't always have their rotors in stock? In the future, I suggest calling UUC to make sure they do have them on the shelf before ordering. I am in no way sticking up for Rob/ UUC, but I have heard time and time again that parts of their bbks are backordered. If I were to order something from them, I would call them first. Or just drive up there I guess ;)
                      Yours truly,

^ my experience with them is also that it's hit or miss with availability. I always ended up with what I wanted and they will work to rectify a problem but prompt shipping is not one of their strong points. I still do business with them but like others have said call and talk to Rob about specific time frames. It is frustrating but that is how they operate.

Please realize that we typically do have accurate inventory management.

However, what I suspect happened in your situation, is that we had blanks (non-slotted) inventoried as slotted or vice-versa, which accidentally made the inventory status inaccurate.

As with any customer service concern, we would have appreciated a call directly to discuss your situation which may have allowed us to do something extra for you to remedy the situation. Nobody on a message board can help an issue, only the people at the company you're doing business with!

Recent BBK backorder is about to be eliminated.

Exciting news; we've just completed the move to our all-new fabrication center in GA (this is not the same as our office/warehouse location) which will be making UUC much more efficient in rolling out orders and new product.

Essentially, we're hoping that backorders of any type will become a thing of the past.

We do appreciate your patronage and support!

                              you see that right?

You do see that anyone that would think that probably has preconceived ill will or unrealistic expectations about how the practice of running a physical product business works?

These threads are often pointless in the first place and what I can guarantee you is that any business, not just UUC, would prefer to make their customers as happy as possible with direct contact. Posting nastiness on a message board is an exercise in utter futility.

Customers that call us to have an issue resolved get the red carpet treatment and usually come out even better than they hoped. Customers that post on a message board instead, well, they just get a reply.
