I had a vaguely similar situation when I sold my GTO - it came with an aftermarket exhaust installed, and the stock exhaust was included in the sale. Buyer couldn't pick it up when he got the car, so he said he'd come back and get it. I pinged him a few times about it but he never responded. After a few months, I sent him an email saying I was tired of tripping over it in the garage and if he didn't come get it I was going to list it on CL. No answer, so I listed it on CL and even emailed him the link. I sold the exhaust to somebody and never heard back from the buyer of the car.

I guess he technically could come back and say I owe him something, but I made every attempt to have him pick it up and he never responded.

^ Gotta admit that's kind of suspect. If he wasn't in the wrong then I would think he pipe in by now. Ya know, kind of clear your name type thing. It's funny I now remember about the whole tail light debacle. Pretty interesting, just my internet 2 cents. I met Erik once, he seemed like an ok guy to me.

I've had enough dealings with people to know if the shit you agreed upon isn't there (parts, cash, whatever) the items don't change hands. I don't care how much you know about them. Only the best of my friends get away with this type of shit.

All that matters is what's in the agreement.
