I just recently bought a Yakima bike rack from deansbimmer on here. He was very prompt with responses and shipping. The rack was packaged with a lot of care, unfortunately a couple hard parts contacted each other in shipping and broke two clips that hold the bike rack to the cross bars. I feel like it was an honest mistake and had the roles been reversed I would have probably packaged it the same way he did.

We did our paypal transaction as a gift to avoid fees. I agreed to this simply because he had good feedback on ebay and other forums. He had little feedback here but what he had was good. When I found the broken parts, admittedly I was worried I would be out the $100 it was going to cost to replace the them.

I contacted deansbimmer with an explanation and pictures. He promptly responded and wanted to make things right. We agreed upon a refund amount to help offset the cost of the replacement parts and he refunded it the same night.

I am happy with the transaction and would not hesitate to work with him again. I really appreciated him making things right when he had no real obligation to do so since I sent him money as a gift. To me that speaks more of a sellers character than one who simply ships on time. He stands behind what he is selling.
