I went to a UPS store two weeks ago and they charged me $68 total to ship two seats. When I shipped that SRD to you way back when, it was $75 from FedEx.

I love the UPS store near me. It's new and has great customer service.

I think they are franchised out so you will have different service etc from different stores.

You do realize that the 'UPS Store' is just a Mailboxes, Etc., right? They just changed the name. They have the same mark-up over UPS's rates that they used to (which enables them to actually be a profitable business). If you go to an actual UPS facility, you'll pay exactly what they quote you online (no "UPS Store" mark-up).

I prefer actually going to the FedEx distribution site near my home. FedEx Ground has really cheap rates and they're usually not busy at all.

Werd. Back in Corvallis there was a FedEX depot on airport road, not even a mile from my house. I always brought anything big there because it was the cheapest out there. Always no line too.

Werd, there's a main distribution hub not 3 miles from my house, it's the only place I go for using FedEx.

FedEx won't let you ship international from one of their disttribution centers without preparing it online first... but generally I prefer FedEx.

I like the UPS store down the road from me. Ruth (Asst. Manager) and Faith (Owner/Operator) rock my world. I'm the "car parts guy" there. I use to just use ups.com and schedule pickups, but going to the UPS store is cheaper. Main UPS and FedEx hubs are atleast 30 minutes away with no traffic.

I'm sticking with Ruth and Faith.

UPS Store - closest to me, nicest people, higher prices.

FedEx - dumb ass Kinko's help behind the counter - useless people. I just use it as a drop off when I send Fedex.com prepared packages. When I sold my t-stars, the guy said they were too big to accept. Pasha had the people at his box two wheels per box and send them to me. What gives???

DHL - farthest away, but the choice for large stuff. I sent a convertible top and frame for $35 via DHL. UPS and FedEx wouldn't even touch it.

Ken and I are exactly the same way. thank you

FedEX facility is 5 minutes from my house. And I'm a regular. In west lafayette. . . not so lucky. I couldn't find the UPS facility, and gave in stupidly to the UPS store.
