But, I have had one occasion that was questionable. I bought some girl scout cookies from him and he never told me that the cookies had expired by a whole year. What a bastard.

Thanks to Chadsomethingorother for showing me a thread I was too stupid to notice before I posted my redundant bullshit thread. Here's what I had:

My driver's seat failed on me, and I had to source a quick solution. fredk was selling some vinyl that was reported to be in stunning shape, so the fiancee and I drove out to MA from CT on Saturday. The price was more than reasonable, especially in light of wholly unexpected extra goodies.

Did I mention that I drove out on a borrowed E30 M3 seat and and no passenger seat? She sat on the floor, but was in good humor about it and in the end it all worked out perfectly once the new seats were installed:



It was a pleasure meeting you, Fred, and I cannot thank you enough for this immaculately preserved interior. My old leather interior was decent, but nowhere near as impressively preserved.















Of course nothing can ever be perfect, and I returned home with a chipped windshield and also missing the same trim piece that I already replaced once:



So be it, it was still easily worth the trip.

Low-action video of you pulling in. I was trying to get sound clips of the car roaring around in the distance, but the microphone on my phone wasn't up to the job. I'm glad that you felt comfortable taking it out. It doesn't move quite the same with two people, specifically me and my fat ass, in it. :D

I also wish I'd checked the oil while at your house, as I was down 2 quarts when I finally got to it!
