I've found the following requirements to be hugely beneficial in mitigating sale scams on other forums:

1. Post count requirement (50-100 posts minimum)
and/or
2. Membership duration (3 months minimum)
and
3. Picture of said items in current condition
with
4. Screen name and Date written down on a piece of paper next to items for sale


I think being able to sell items on a forum is a privilege that should be extended to contributing members only.

I put him in timeout 30 days ago with instructions on how to resolve this issue. It seems he has no respect for the R3V staff or his customers. I have sent him a final message this morning asking him to explain and resolve the situation. If he does not reply promptly he will be permanently banned as well as IP banned.

For those who have vouched for him, tell him to man up.

Well, to all of you guys who say you know Bo personally and he is a stand up guy, do me a favor and reach out to him for me.

I purchased a set of euro front trims from him a month and a half ago. I was pleased with the original transaction until I realized he sent two drivers side pieces. I asked him what he wanted to do about getting me the proper piece and on 3-16-14 he said he would send it out to me.

Still have heard nothing, no response to any PM's or emails. And he has been banned.

I called, didn't ring and went straight to v-mail. I sent another text, hope you guys get to the bottom of it.

It is people like this who ruin the rest of the honest sellers' reputations. After a couple of these occurrences this year, I think I am finished with used parts.

Been trying to contact bao, via email, text, call, this forum, ebay. Hasnt responded to anything what so ever.... I've been scammed.

I bought door panels from him, although it took a while for him to ship them, they were good, well wrapped and he included a lot of other miscellaneous stuff with them. Give him some time.

So, I'm a bit sad to to see this. For a while, Bo was my go-to. Wouldn't even post a wanted ad, just email Bo. His first few packages were shipped promptly, fair price, working order - usually even better than expected.

The last two purchases have been difficult. One was for bumper shocks, one was for a complete black interior. The bottom line is, both got to me but not without considerable emailing, calling, messaging, etc. The interior was a huge nuisance to ship, but he did it and did it well. It just took way, way, way too long.

I wouldn't call Bo a scammer, but I do think things are happening that should make him re-consider his priorities in terms of selling parts. Either do it or don't, but don't take people's money and then wait three weeks (or more) to ship.

Bo is a decent guy - for real. But I feel like either work or health or something else of a personal nature is preventing him from conducting business at the level he once did. Hope everyone's situation gets made right, one way or another.
