    Scam or not

    It most likely is. Hi guys. I posted in WTB about a week ago. I got a private message from a user with 0 posts. He suggested to contact a guy and provided his email address, saying he had purchased from him in the past and was very pleased. I emailed the guy and received a reply within minutes.
    He gave me a price and asked for my address. I requested pictures and the fact that I wanted to pay with paypal. He did not reply until hours later after I hit him up again. His next reply stated that he does not send pictures through the internet and he only accepts moneygram as payment. " I am very trustworthy and the part is brand new. Remember, a very happy client told you to contact me" Are you kidding me? Definitely not following up on this one. Just wanted to share in case others get similar messages.

            Sounds like a scam to me. It's sad that there's so many scammers.

              Guess what I found!

              The Op sent me the email of the guy who he was to get ahold of and the screen name of the guy who told him.

              The guy who got ahold of him;

              Coolrealbmw
              FL,USA (profile location)
              BMW 325is s52 (his e30 in his profile)
              Searched his IP. Turns up its out of Nigeria!

              Moving onto the guy who was to be emailed;

              Searched his email and came up as rr33vv as the user name.

              FL,USA (profile location)
              2009 (e30 in his profile)

              searched his IP, it was out of Columbus, OH

              Both are now banned and IP banned.
