Item: Kosei K1 15x7 wheel
Payment: Paypal
Item was recieved, but the business was less than pleasing.
Geoff was an interesting person. He was completely active during our first talk. Answered all my questions through e-mails in the matter of minutes, and while joking about it, I quote: "I just leave outlook on all day and it makes the recieved mail noise so i'll hear it if I'm at home"
After I sent the payment (in the same conversation) I have not even gotten a confirmation or a thank you from him. No matter, I wasnt worried. I e-mailed him a day later and got no response for the following 24 hours. I then proceeded to check his e-mail accounts with Paypal.
The first account he provided me was "unable to recieve money". The second one was fine. Out of curiousity I checked if his contact e-mail was also registered in Paypal and it was, but again this account too was "unable to recieve money. With that and a complete failure in communication in 48 hours, I filed a claim and try to get my money back.
Suddenly in minutes I got a response. He was pissed and he could not understand why I would do such a thing, he said he'd been out one day and had been working the other (surprisingly has never stopped by his house to check his e-mail at all), and with enough excuses asked me to drop the claim, in the promise of shipping out the item promptly and providing a tracking number.
48 hours later I recieve an e-mail: The item was shipped and he left the tracking number in the car, which he was going to send it to me later.
Ever since I have not heard from him. I e-mailed him asking for the tracking number and got no response. And once again I am led to believe he is completely far away from his computer because: "I just leave outlook on all day..."
I calculated the day he shipped and both Fedex and UPS require 4 business days to deliver. Today I was ready to go back to Paypal when surprisingly, the wheel arrived.
So in the end, the transaction was successful, but I am not sure I would do business again.
