    Eurospec

I shipped Eurospec some headlights that I took a hit on and sold him for $115, instead of $125, and he claims they were damaged in shipping due to my error not UPS's. The box was tight and the lights were wrapped in high density bubble wrap, not the big stuff. I packed them very tightley so that they would not rattle arround and also had fragile sticker placed on the package. Could I have used a larger box? Yes I could have but I also could have gone to law school instead of becoming a cop.

I even went so far as to refund $10 in the spirit of the holidays so that he could get the two broken tabs to repair the lights and he still complained. He then asked if he could return the lights to me for a refund as he did not want to file the UPS claim. Seriously what am I Walmart?

I am a good member of this community and have sold to many memebers who have all had good experiences. So be carefull if you ever sell anything to Eurospec as he wants everything packaged like fine china.

You know who's a good member of this community? Eurospec is. It's common courtesy as a seller to make the situation right in whichever way possible. If you don't want to issue him a refund, file a claim through UPS for the parts. They give $100 insurance free of charge. Let's not go as far as bashing a good standing member of the forum because parts you sold him arrived damaged.

I am not bashing I am simply making a statement of facts. I am trying to resolve the situation that is why I went out of my way and refunded him $10 to get the clips. I did not have to do that but I was accepting some responsability for the damage to the lights.

In the interest of good will I have already begun a claim with UPS on his word that the package was damaged. My frustration with the situation is based on the fact that I shipped good merchandise that arrived bad and it seems that I am the only one willing to act as he stated that he wanted to return the lights so that I may start a claim. If were to purchase an item and it arrived in a damaged box I would refuse it or simply start a claim at the time of delivery but I guess I am the exception in this case not the rule.

Is this what you call high density bubble wrap?? Don't be so frugal next time.

And I present to you the box which mind you is 6" on one side while the buckets themselves are about 6.5-7" tall. Way to go!

Upon further review, a claim will be useless. UPS will conclude what we've already established... the lights weren't packaged properly from the getgo. Lets just call it a day as this will be a waste of our time and energy.

Great seller. Sent it out an e34 e-brake leather handle quickly and was very quick to respond. Would and probably will do business with him again gladly.

Bought a set of 4 E36 window switches with the pigtails and bezels and not only was it a good deal, but his turnaround time was fantastic. +1 for Eurospec.
