I bought an ECU with chip in September for my swap. I didn't get the car ready to start until a couple of weeks ago.
Car wouldn't start.
I took the ECU to my local shop and they tried it in their car, wouldn't start. I bought a stock ECU and it starts the car just fine.
Seller says it's my fault for waiting so long to try the ECU.
The ECU doesn't work, I don't know why, nor do I care. It's a faulty product that should be replaced. Their position is that I might have done something to it.
Bad faith sale as far as I'm concerned. My next step is to contact the Attorney General of the state the seller lives in. Last time I checked it was still illegal to take someones money without giving them something of value...
