I've been asked several times why not to buy from bimmerbumco on eBay, so here's the quick little blurb that I always throw out to ppl that PM me:
He took my $270 (for one of his tune up kits, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...spagenameZWDVW) and never sent me anything.
I emailed him a few times about not recieving anything and never got a reply. I got completely consumed with work and by the time I went to make a claim, it was the day after my window to do so. I tried emailing him dozens of times and he wouldn't reply. I tried calling him, but his number was disconnected. I gave him negative feedback and he made up some lame story and gave me negative feedback in return. I continued to email him for months and a year later he replied to me and outright made fun of me. That was the most lame, irritating shit that I have ever dealt with.
I lost a car because of him. His not sending those parts ended up costing me over $4,200 in losses, probably more now that I'm thinking of it. I almost lost my daily driver, my Touring, over that because I couldn't pay the taxes on it. Granted, I shouldn't have had so much riding on the sale of a car, but who hasn't been in a tight spot? I had to do a ton of moonlight mechanic work to get the money that I needed at the time just to keep my head above water. He basically ruined my life for about three months.
The final thing is that I'm one of his few negative feedbacks and chances are that no one is even going to care. You know? Whatever though, I'm on to bigger and better things... This mistake was made before I found Art Konkine and his excellent company, RMEuropean.
I hope this helps someone avoid a major pain in the ass,
Frank
